Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hardware Electronics Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations in Victoria, BC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics manufacturing, along with proven leadership abilities. As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient production of our Hardware Electronics products while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the production process, from component procurement to final product assembly.
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines.
- Manage and optimize production workflows to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Supervise and train production staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams (R&D) to ensure that production processes are optimized for quality and reliability.
- Monitor production metrics and KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Maintain inventory levels of raw materials and components, ensuring that production lines have adequate supplies to meet demand.
- Oversee RMA/Warranty system including repairs and labor/expense tracking as Job Orders.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout the production process.
Requirements :
- Technical or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in electronics manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Strong technical knowledge of electronics assembly processes and manufacturing techniques.
- Proven leadership abilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire production teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and lean manufacturing principles.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
