A fantastic opportunity awaits a Bore Runner at a large-scale cattle station located 100 kilometers east of Daly Waters in the Northern Territory. Spanning over 1.5 million acres, this property runs a breeder mob of approximately 22,000 and maintains 26 bores for water supply. Some of these bores are managed under a farm bot system, so familiarity with such technology is necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular checks and maintenance on 26 bores, including those managed by farm bots.
- Drive around the property to service bores, maintain equipment, and inspect stock waters and fencing around watering points.
- Assist in water structure development and promptly report any stock issues to management.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of motors and pumps.
- The ability to operate a grader is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and the capacity to work independently with limited supervision.
- Possession of a valid driver's license is essential.
