Boxing Gym Manager And Trainer

Tribute Boxing is a fast growing Boxing and functional training facility located in Abbotsford, Brunswick and Docklands (with sites 4 or 5 coming in 2025)
We offer group fitness classes, corporate sessions, personal training services, boxing academy training and fight night events. As we are going through a rapid growth period, we need another management gun to join the Tribute family!
About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced general manager with impeccable administrative skills and experience with coaching in the fitness industry to be part of our expanding team. We are looking for a team player who will be responsible for our staff management, quarterly challenge programs, corporate partnership support, fight night event management, academy training and day to day management of the gyms.
Key aspects of this role include:

• Facilitating Classes up to 20 Hours a week; 
• Design and Implementation of Class Setups for all locations in 6-week blocks;
• Staff Management: Day to Day Management and Upskilling of Staff and 1:1 KPI Meetings;
• Ad-hoc Tasks around the gym including but not limited to Stocktake, Maintenance dealing with Suppliers Staff Training
• Work alongside the CFO, BDM and admin/sales staff to ensure business development targets are met.

Responsibilities:

• Quarterly member challenges - planning and execution
• Class development and upskilling staff on how to facilitate them
• Day to day maintenance and management of Tribute gyms
• Supporting the Tribute coaches
• Liaising with Directors regarding KPI's for staff and each location

Skills and experience

• Communication and networking skills are a must!
• Minimum 2 years experience in customer service, management and sales
• Minimum 3 years experience in personal training and/or boxing coaching
• Exceptional administrative skills
• Excellent telephone manner
• Strong self-organisational skills

Job Offer:
Full time hours: 40 per week. 15-20 hours of which are Tribute classes
Monday - Saturday: Hours flexible
PLUS Commission based bonuses 
Free onsite parking.
