Full-Time Gym Manager Position - ($70,000 - $85,000 Ote)

Do you have experience managing a group training studio?

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Gym Manager to embrace, manage and help grow our amazing F45 Mount Waverley community, and help lead our combined F45 Training Ashburton and Mount Waverley team.

As the Gym Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Mount Waverley studio, including managing staff, and membership sales whilst working closely with your hands-on management/directors group across two studios.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of fitness professionals, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
• Membership sales and retention (both over the phone and in studio)
• Develop and implement strategies to increase membership and revenue
• Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the gym facilities
• Create and manage budgets, including forecasting and financial reporting
• Develop and implement marketing and promotional campaigns to attract new members
• Maintain accurate records and track membership data

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in a management role in the fitness industry
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Confident sales skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, MindBody CRM and other relevant software programs
• Cert III & IV in Group Fitness Training and PT, CPR and first aid certification
• A bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. sports management) is preferred but not required
• F45 or similar group training experience preferred
