A full time opportunity with a highly respected iconic Australian organisation where you will have the opportunity to use your customer service, communication and administrative skills to support our Clubs and in turn our lifesavers on the beach.
Key responsibilities
- Club Administration Assistance - membership administration, organising annual training, coordinating club orders and general administrative support.
- Education and Lifesaving Support - assisting with administrative duties and coverage if someone in the team is on leave.
- Member Services - assisting with Awards, Youth Camps and other courses running in the office.
- Meeting and Events - attend weekly and monthly meetings, assisting with compiling the agenda and note taking.
- Branch Administration - assisting to collate reports and update website, newsletters and social media content. Maintain and update databases and assist with the delivery of communications to internal and external audiences.
Skills required
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Well-developed oral & written communications skills (including assisting with presentation and report writing)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Excellent computer skills in a number of Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organisational skills
- Self motivated with a can-do attitude.
- Ability to multi task & prioritise.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
- Unrestricted Motor Vehicle Licence required.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to head office in Belrose.
An understanding of Surf Life Saving and Not for Profit organisations would be an advantage.
