Job description

NSR Hire is a vehicle, plant and equipment rental company that has been operating for 29 years. We have multiple branch locations in Perth, Newman, Port Hedland, Busselton, Broome and Karratha. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and determined individuals to join our NSR Hire Team as a Admin/Hire Coordinator in our Newman Branch. This is a diverse role that requires candidates that take pride in their customer service. 

As the face of the company, you will be significant in implementing and coordinating the booking and mobilisations as well as assisting in the smooth handover of our vehicles to our customers.

We are primarily looking for local residents for this position, however will consider FIFO for an outstanding candidate.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Carry out the yard stock take while inspecting and updating vehicle condition on stocktake app.
  • Carry out On Hire / Off Hire Inspections and photos
  • Checking vehicles in/out to customers
  • Detailing vehicles and monitoring quality control of vehicle presentation.
  • Report Damages (mechanical and cosmetic) to Perth based Hire Coordinators/Maintenance Coordinator for rectification - ensure the 
    necessary apps are used to track information.
  • Assist clients and Hire Coordinators in the event of a breakdowns.
  • Daily brief the yard hand/detailers on tasks and priorities for the day and allocate duties to manage performance and accountability.
  • Ordering of chemicals and consumables for the yard.
  • Monthly order office and cleaning supplies
  • Airport drop off/pick-ups
  • Vehicle deliveries/retrievals
  • Complete customer supplied site paperwork for hire when requested.
  • Provided assistance to the hire coordinators, where requested, when allocating vehicles for enquiries.
  • Make sure that every vehicle is ready for hire and up to standard with the cleaning
  • Have relative Mechanical aptitude to complete small repairs where required
  • Maintain yard condition for highest possible presentation
  • Direct all new hire queries via email / phone / walk ins, to the Hire Coordinators
  • Assist Fleet Maintenance coordinator with Coordinating repairs with external suppliers for tasks unable to complete in house.
  • Supervising the branch operations and staff working at the branch
  • Managing and supervising the WHS at the branch, as instructed by management.
  • Completing fortnightly/monthly toolboxes, as instructed by management.
  • Any other task/role as directed from Line Manager or Senior Managers for jobs pertaining to business requirements.
