The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative, and experienced Branch Manager to oversee our new Bentley store, reporting directly to the company Directors. This role is pivotal in managing the branch's retail, financial, and operational performance, ensuring revenue growth, margin improvement, service quality enhancement, and adherence to compliance and safety standards. You will inspire your team, exemplify outstanding customer service, and align resources with market demand to achieve financial objectives. This is a full-time position, initially Monday through Friday, transitioning to a rotating schedule, with the flexibility to work additional hours as needed.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.  

- Handle rental agreements, customer interactions, vehicle inspections, and promote holiday products.  

- Coordinate customer transportation and vehicle logistics.  

- Manage fleet availability and utilization to meet booking demands.

- Control costs, exceed sales targets, and deliver exceptional customer service.

- Address customer feedback and complaints promptly and effectively, and resolve issues to mutual satisfaction.  

- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs of the fleet, maintaining peak vehicle conditions.  

- Lead staff recruitment, training, and development.

- Set and monitor KPIs and targets, ensuring high performance. 

- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

- Analyse market trends, adjust business strategies accordingly, and manage promotions.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and company policies.

- Maintain up-to-date fleet documentation and provide regular reports to Directors.

Required Skills & Experience

- Proven experience in the car rental industry, with a strong background in staff and operations management.  

- Exceptional leadership, mentorship, and staff development skills; experience with KPIs and performance reporting.

- Excellent customer service and sales expertise, capable of building quick rapport.

- Proficient in conflict resolution, with a knack for effectively addressing customer issues.

- Solid computer skills and ability to quickly learn new software.  

- Strong analytical, planning, and marketing abilities.

- Detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and maintain organisation.  

- A proactive approach to optimising business performance based on market feedback.

- Positive attitude, resilience in challenging situations, and a commitment to excellence. 

- Familiarity with legal requirements related to transportation and car rentals.

- Bilingual in Mandarin would be highly regarded  

- A current, unrestricted driver's license.
