Role Summary: As the Branch Manager in Cobar, you'll be the driving force behind achieving budget sales and profits while ensuring operational excellence. This pivotal role demands exceptional leadership, astute stock management, and a relentless focus on customer satisfaction.
Your role entails facilitating and coordinating supply requirements for our key account customers. Additionally, as part of our commitment to personalised service, you will be expected to travel to different customer sites, including mine sites, and manage stock levels both on the surface and underground.
Collaborating closely with the General Manager, BRANCH MANAGERs, and administrative team, you'll play a vital role in steering our success.
To be successful you will have:
- Previous experience or knowledge of the mining industry.
- Keen attention to detail and strong planning skills.
- Supervisory or management experience.
- Proven sales and business development acumen.
- Outstanding communication and people management skills.
- Proficiency in financial reporting (P&L, EBIT)
- Strong computer literacy.
- Driven by procedures and best practices.
- Self-motivated.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Providing effective staff leadership.
- Ensuring the branch maintains a polished appearance.
- Managing stock procurement and control.
- Delivering exceptional customer service.
- Driving sales and maximising gross profit.
- Monitoring expenses and managing budgets.
- Overseeing debtor and security control.
- Upholding stringent safety standards and procedures.
