Quick overview of the role
We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager to manage the day-to-day sales, operations and facilities of the Service Centre, encompassing sales, production and warehouse delivery processes; maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and housekeeping. This position is based in our Capalaba Branch.
What will you be doing?
- Provide leadership to branch employees to foster a safe, efficient working environment
- Ensure stock is well managed including safe and orderly storage of goods and materials, accurate and timely receipting
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers
- Ensure security, maintenance, safe operation, and professional image of the branch
- Oversee production and logistics planning
- Facilitate human resource management for the branch
- Manage all workplace incidents, work injuries and illnesses
- Conduct regular team meetings, training and toolbox talks
- Monitor monthly Profit and Loss Reports and budgets
- Manage external local transport providers ensuring safe work procedures and Chain of Responsibility Legislation
- Oversee the management of all workplace incidents, work injuries, and illnesses for the team
- Seek opportunities for improvements in processes
- Undertake other duties and/or projects
About you
- Proven experience leading a team to deliver high levels of customer service
- Experience managing a high volume of stock
- Demonstrated experience in stock management
- High level of verbal and written communication skills
- High level of proficiency in managing departmental budgets, revenue forecasting and financial reporting
- Strong leadership acumen with a thorough understanding of Human Resource best practices
- Car Drivers Licence
