With a strong market share and several machines brands, the operation is built for true success. You will work with senior management to build and deliver exceptional results but at the same time coordinate and manage the workshop, Field Service, Warrantee, Used equipment and external sales team. This role has some major challenges and the MD, GM, National Service Manager and National Sales Manager need a proven performer that is step up above to deliver outstanding results. You need to be a people’s leader and have excellent communication across the board.
Job Opportunity -
In this role you will be required to manage and oversee the workshop, but also cover all management and operation duties, this role has three major titles mixed through the role, Operation’s manager, Service manager and customer support management for key accounts. It needs someone that can handle high pressure but also has the capabilities to not only direct and manage but also keep a cool head at the busiest times of the year. With the Branch having a retail direction you will have customer walk-ins from the street and you will need to identify if they are looking for new or used equipment. It will down to you to sell the machinery on site whilst covering the technical operation. We know that this role will have a number of major challenges but the business needs a proven Branch manager that can identify issues and create change whilst working with the team to increase operational success.
In this role you will be required to cover this following –
Key Aspects
- 70% Service Management & 30% Sales
- Drive service operation whilst building network and supporting key accounts.
- Coordinate all workshop jobs with internal and external service teams.
- Run tool box and OHS meetings
- Create Job orders throughout the branch operation.
- Work with parts and warehouse operation to create smooth running of the branch.
- Direct all operational aspects including distribution operations, customer service, human resources, administration, and sales
- Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities
- Meet goals and metrics
- Manage budget and allocate funds appropriately
- Bring out the best of branch’s personnel by providing training, coaching, development, and motivation
- Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities
- Share knowledge with other branches and headquarters on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs
- Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly
- Adhere to high ethical standards, and comply with all regulations/applicable laws
- Network to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and company
- These are the main key areas that you will need to focus on, so it is essential that you can multitask and provide the support where it’s needed in the branch. You will be heavily supported from Head Office and from national based offices. The business is driven as team environment working with all the departments to achieve the same target. You need to have the people skills to motivate and support the team in building the business.
Candidate Requirements -
- 3 + Years Operational / Branch Management Exp
- Must have worked for Earthmoving Dealership or Earthmoving OEM
- Have a passion for service operations and manage key accounts
- Highly motivated and passion for people leadership
- Trade qualification or strong mechanical aptitude
- Excellent organisational skills
- Willingness to get in front of customers and sell the services of the business and product offerings, We know that this is the hard part but the management team want the branch to go forward so we need an all-rounder.

Salary Package –
On offer is base salary + Superannuation + Company works UTE and company / product training and leadership from senior management. You will receive salary reviews on your performance each year. You will also receive a company bonus worked on your KPI’s.
