About the role:
Located in Cummins, 45 minutes north of Port Lincoln on the picturesque Eyre Peninsula the town is an agricultural community with farming being the main economic activity. The role as Branch Manager allows you to become a part of this community by providing high quality and reliable agricultural machinery to ensure that Ramsey Bros continue their strong reputation as a trusted business partner to the farming community.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Group Operations Manager, your primary responsibility will be overseeing the day-to-day management and operation of the Cummins branch which includes 30 staff across sales, service and parts. You will ensure that all aspects of the branch's daily activities are communicated accurately. Your role will involve consulting with other team members across different departments throughout the organisation. Most importantly you will immerse yourself in the range and variety of products offered within the company to provide a second to none service to your customers.
Skills and Experience:
Ideally you will have a strong understanding of agricultural machinery within a dealership environment, coupled with superior leadership skills and excellent people management abilities. With high staff retention and an already dedicated workforce, you'll add to this with your strong work ethic, drive, and customer centric attitude. Commercially you will be responsible for the full P&L, setting branch budgets and preparation of quarterly branch reports. What will set you apart is your desire to build long term relationships with staff and customers alike, being involved in local events and truly partnering with the farming community.
