Job Summary:
The Branch Manager is responsible for directing, optimizing, and coordinating branch operations to support customer requirements efficiently, ensuring that cost, productivity, accuracy, safety, and timeliness targets are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead health, safety, and environment programs, ensuring compliance with all relevant acts and regulations.
- Manage compliance with transport laws, including mass, dimension, load restraint, speed, fatigue management, vehicle maintenance, and standards.
- Oversee vehicle maintenance to ensure all equipment is operated and maintained according to company and manufacturer’s standards.
- Foster strong customer relations, ensuring timely and professional communication and service delivery.
- Handle general administration tasks, maintaining accurate and timely reports and documentation.
- Lead and develop the team, defining clear roles and responsibilities and monitoring performance against agreed standards.

- Extensive knowledge of safe operating procedures.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
- Financial acumen with strong problem-solving and customer-focused abilities.
Proficiency in logistics software.
Reporting Relationships:
Reports directly to the Executive General Manager of Chemtrans.
Key Contacts/Working Relations:
Internal collaboration with Department Managers, Maintenance and Operations Divisions, Administration, and Health & Safety Advisors. Externally, maintains relationships with customers, wharf and rail authorities, and training organizations.
