We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at TLE Port Macquarie on a full-time permanent basis.
Mon – Fri 6.30am – 5pm (no Saturdays).
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a good work ethic and an upbeat attitude, willing to learn new skills and provide a high level of service.
The role:
As part of a team of 6, you will be on the go throughout the day, involved in all general day-to-day operations, including (but not limited to):
- Implementing and managing business strategies to improve profitability and lift margins.
- Develop, execute and review operational policies and procedures to maximise the efficiency of the business.
- Manage stock control and inventory checks.
- Supplier relations.
- Oversee the onsite WHS management.
- Direct reports include sales, warehousing and delivery staff.
- Drive business unit improvement to achieve operational excellence and profitable growth whilst maintaining outstanding customer service.
- Other adhoc duties:
- Facilities & Asset management
- System and device advice and troubleshooting
- Liaising with Head Office Accounts, IT and other departments

About you:
You are ready for a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment and your ability to multi-task and prioritise using common sense is second to none.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Must be an Australian / New Zealand resident or citizen. Sponsorship is not offered for this role. (No temporary visas, unfortunately)
- Electrical & Solar wholesale experience (highly desirable but not imperative).
- Excellent interpersonal skills to drive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- A qualification in a relevant discipline and/or formal management training would be a distinct advantage.
- Team Management / leadership capabilities.
- Vision, drive, and the ability to think outside the square.
- Experience managing large stock and inventory levels.
- Proven staff management and people development experience.
- Outstanding time management and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Multitasking skills and thrive under pressure within a fast-paced professional team environment – where a sense of urgency matters.
