About the Role
We have an opportunity for an experienced Branch Supervisor to join our Lismore Branch.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Adapt, promote, and demand a safety-first culture by embodying our “Think Safe, Work Safe, Live Safe” ethos.
- Embody the ‘Yes We Can’ ethos in all aspects of the role and responsibilities.
- Assisting in the Effective and efficient management of the customer service (delivery) operation (including Bulk LPG).
- Ownership of operations, compliance, and customer service while the BM is not available to be on site.
- Comply with, and ensure compliance with, the Australian Competition and Consumer Act 2010 and the Company Competition and Consumer Law Compliance Policy and Manual with all direct reports.
- Ensure induction and Safety training of all new branch staff is in line with the standard Supagas Induction and Safety training which includes a module on Competition and Consumer Law.
- Spend consistent and quality time in field to mentor and coach branch staff to maximise potential.
- Recruit, select and train staff where required.
- Identify strengths, weaknesses, and development needs of branch staff and communicate opportunities for improvement to the Branch Manager.
- Support a culture of teamwork, loyalty, cooperation and, customer (“Yes We Can”) focus in areas under your control.
- Attend and be prepared for management meetings as required.
- Ensure IBT’s are ordered on time and stock levels in yard are kept to minimum levels as well as receipting in IBT’s for the month.
- Participate and if necessary, run toolbox meetings with branch staff monthly.
- Complete daily depot check
- Maintain stock levels of consumable for drivers and yard including all PPE requirements.
Skills & Experience
- Hold a current Australian drivers licence
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Forklift and HR Licence, an advantage
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal
- Flexible and adaptable to handle high pressure and stressful situations, excellent time management, accompanied by a high level of resilience
- Current police check and demerit point statement required
- The successful candidate will be required to attend a pre-employment medical examination.
