You would be the conduit for the team reporting to the Managing Director, Finance & Administration Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Melbourne branch, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of all Freight Forwarding activities.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth, expand market presence, and increase revenue.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners to ensure exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and analyse key performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management, providing insights into branch performance, market trends, and opportunities for growth.
Requirements:
Proven experience in Freight Forwarding, with a solid understanding of industry practices, regulations, and market dynamics.
