About the RoleThe APS4 Branch Support Officer is accountable under general direction to perform moderately complex work to provide a range of administration, corporate and executive support activities.
The APS4 Branch Support Officer is accountable for organising and prioritising their workflow and making decisions within defined parameters. They will apply a sound knowledge of the Branch’s operating requirements, procedures and guidelines to support the senior executive officer and senior managers.
Branch Support Officers are required to communicate with and provide advice to a range of internal and external stakeholders to progress work outcomes on behalf of the senior executive officer in the Branch.
Skills and ExperienceAs a Branch Support Officer, you will need to
Provide administrative support to the Branch Manager and wider Branch senior management including diary management, invoicing and travel coordination.
Provide secretariat support to the Branch including the co-ordination of meetings, development of agendas and minute taking and work collaboratively with other administrative Support Officers across the Agency.
Be the point of contact between the senior executive, senior managers and other areas within the Branch; coordinating responses for assigned actions.
Work closely with others and building relationships within the Branch, Division and the Agency to effect cooperation and resolution of moderately complex issues.
Undertake procedural, clerical, administrative support or operational tasks.
Be a self-starter and be able to work independently and under general direction to progress and monitor work activities.
Qualifications
While there are not formal qualifications the following will be highly regarded
- Previous administrative experience working on technology or business projects within organisations.
- Proven ability to provide secretariat services.
- Experience in using SAP for finance and invoicing duties.

Eligibility- Ability to obtain and maintain national police check.
- Australian Citizenship is a condition of eligibility.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a higher clearance if required by the Agency.

Salary: This role offers between$75,696 - $79,981 plus 15.4% superannuation depending on skills and experience.
