About the role
We’re looking for a contractor (you’ll need an ABN) to join our start-up in-house merchandising team. Reporting to the national vendor in-store support / merchandising manager, you’ll be a Brand Ambassador for Bunnings stores located in the south eastern suburbs for around 10 hours per week. We’re flexible on the exact stores but they could be Dandenong, Keysborough, Oakleigh, Moorabbin, Mentone, Notting Hill, Springvale etc).
In this hands-on role, you’ll:
- Manage our product to increase sales, monitor stock levels, display new products & ranges, and make sure price tags are correct.
- Look for and negotiate opportunities for our products to be sold on promotional ends and as drops.
- Facilitate in-store sales & marketing promotional programs that build engagement and product knowledge.
- Using a CRM, report on what you’ve done during the visit, any follow-up actions, what you’ve noticed about our competitors and send before and after photos.
- Keep up to date with what’s happening with in-store products, industry developments, opportunities/ challenges, and potential risks.
You’ll also need:
- Current drivers’ licence and reliable car.
- Own smart phone.
- Merchandising, sales rep or retail previous experience is great but not essential
- Capacity to carry and lift to 16kgs and climb a step ladder.
- A creative mindset and an eye for detail.
- Excellent problem-solving and relationship management skills.
- Have an ABN.
