About Us

The Marketing and Communications Office are a group of committed professional services staff who are dedicated to inspire people to choose Murdoch University. Through brand, marketing and communications strategies; we enhance the reputation of the University and drive future growth. The team share the work of Murdoch University's academics, researchers, staff, and students with the Murdoch community, as well as domestic and international audiences.

The Role

Reporting to the Senior Manager Brand Marketing, the Brand & Campaign Manager works closely with colleagues within the Marketing & Communications Office, stakeholders across the university, and with external agencies, vendors, and partners to develop and implement the University's Brand and Campaign plans that underpin recruitment priorities and commercial objectives.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced creative and strategic marketer with a passion and understanding of brand marketing to work within an innovative, dynamic team.

This role will be proactive in the ideation, creation and distribution of Brand and content campaigns across all media touchpoints and will manage various projects working with cross-functional teams.

What you'll bring to this role

  • Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, business, or a related field of study, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a senior marketing role or similar,
  • Demonstrated brand marketing experience, including a successful track record in developing and implementing integrated creative marketing strategies to meet KPI's,
  • Experience in developing Brand and marketing strategies that encompass the full marketing mix,
  • Past success in developing, writing, and executing briefs,
  • Experience in agency relationship management, with the ability to provide leadership and direction to meet marketing objectives,
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; experienced in copywriting, creating marketing reports and presenting to a range of audiences.
  • Effective management of competing projects that incorporate cross-functional teams that deliver on time and on budget.
