An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Brand Art Director to join a dynamic team at Seed Heritage.
Reporting to the GM Marketing & eCommerce, this role governs all creative aspects of the Digital & Marketing projects, ensuring that they align with the brand's handwriting and resonate with the target audience.
This role will play a key role in shaping the visual style, aesthetic, and creative direction of projects. Innovative, collaborative, and commercially driven, you lead and inspire the internal digital creative team to deliver successful brand campaigns.
Please note: This is a part time role on a 12-month fixed term contract.
THE ROLE:
- Lead and inspire the digital creative teams
- Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging open communication and idea-sharing among team members.
- Maintain high standards for all creative outputs. Provide governance and guidance to creative team and review all work, ensuring it adheres to the established creative direction and brand handwriting.
- Stay updated on industry trends, design trends, and emerging visual styles to ensure currency and incorporate innovative elements into projects.
- Lead the evolution of the brand’s in-house visual outputs in line with overarching brand identity and continue to elevate the visual aesthetic.
- Generate and oversee innovative visual concepts and ideas that resonate with the target audience across: Campaign moments (e.g. Mother’s Day), Gifting shoots, Events, Store openings, Brand partnerships, eDM shoots.
- Lead store packaging updates for key brand moments and liaise with VM team on print deliverables and production.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and creative objectives are achieved.
- Manage creative budget, reconcile expenses, and provide monthly updates to management.
- On-site role 4-days per week, based in our St Kilda Road offices.
- 10+ years' experience in a similar creative role, with a proven track record of successful projects
- Extensive experience working on photoshoots both in studio and on location.
- Proficiency in creative software such as Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Familiarity with project management software like Jira, Asana, Trello, or Monday.com
- Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills
- Effective leadership and team management abilities
- Exceptional organisational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritise to meet deadlines.
- Strong stakeholder relationship and communication skills.
- A bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, fine arts, or a related field is required.
