This well-known Australian owned Homewares business markets and sells to major department stores and Independent Homeware Retailers nationally is continuing to grow and enhance its premium brands and product categories. As a result of this exceptional growth, this organisation has created a new opportunity for a Brand Manager to drive and further develop and execute strategies for these highly visible iconic brands that have significant growth and scope, including their social media, digital content and campaign management activities.
Working within the highly energetic Marketing department, you will be responsible for the development and execution Brand Marketing strategies and initiatives of well-known and key brands with the support from the Head of Marketing to whom the position reports. This will include the establishment and communication of brand strategy, budget management, development of integrated multichannel marketing campaigns, market, and consumer research, as well as liaising closely with key stakeholders both internally (and cross functionally) and externally. Externally you will work closely with but not limited to advertising, market research, media and PR and promotional agencies as well as printing suppliers. You will also liaise with key retail customers to promote the activities of the organisation that maintain and improve upon the positive image of the brands, products and culture associated with this well-established business that is steeped in tradition.
You will be tertiary qualified in Marketing (or related field) and MUST have similar experience at a Brand Manager level preferably within FMCG/Consumer Goods, Retail sectors with a strong focus social media, digital and campaign management. You will have superior communications skills both oral and written, a strong ability to multi-task, together with exceptional commercial and financial acumen, as well as someone who takes a great deal of pride in their work. Finally, with a high level of drive and initiative, a preparedness to take on additional responsibilities when required as well as an ability to build rapport and collaborate with cross functional teams and to work in an environment that changes frequently will ensure you are strong contender for this outstanding newly created position.
