About the Position
Reporting through to the National Sales and Marketing Manager [and working in an advisory capacity with the Senior Leadership Team], this brand-new position is being introduced to grow their marketing capability.
Your primary objective will be to drive business growth by effectively partnering across the business and our clients to develop and extend our marketing, brand management and communications activities.
Key to your success in this position will be your ‘working with others’ capabilities, as you will be collaborating with a diverse range of people, both inside and outside of the business. Key relationships internally will be with the National Sales and Marketing Manager and other members of the Senior Leadership Team, Product Managers, State Managers, Sales Team, Logistics Team, Engineering Team and Tech Team. Important relationships outside the business will be with our key customers, local suppliers, offshore suppliers, our 3rd party social media content creators as well as industry bodies and associations.
Also of high importance in this position will be your ability to analyse data, solve complex problems and think strategically.

This is a terrific opportunity for an experienced Marketing Lead who is looking for an opportunity to apply their skillset and toolkit to grow the marketing function and have an impact! Previous experience in a B2B environment is essential and experience in the Building and Construction, Building Products, Manufacturing and/or Engineering industries will be highly regarded. Additional Selection Criteria include:
- Well-developed verbal communication skills – we’re in search of a positive, open and capable communicator who will connect well with the team and the customer base;
- Exceptional Planning and Organisational skills – complemented by a methodical approach and strong attention to detail;
- The knack for problem solving – you’ll view problems as opportunities and enjoy taking a creative, innovative and fresh approach;
- Great technology skills – you’re all over technology – it comes naturally to you; and,
- Strong written communication skills – getting the copy just right will be something you’re good at!
Tertiary qualifications [Diploma, Degree or higher] in Business, Marketing and/or Communications [or other relevant stream] will be well regarded, however are not considered essential.
