The Sandbar is a beach side cafe, restaurant and bar open from 7am every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We are looking for a Breakfast Chef and a Chef De Partie. Bonus points if you can do both!
With a capacity of 400 patrons, The Sandbar is a fast paced venue. If you have the right mindset and the skills required - The Sandbar is the perfect fit!
We are an owner operated venue. Having been around for 10 years now, The Sandbar certainly understands the local community as well as most.
The right candidates will compliment an already amazing kitchen team, which for most, have been together for over 4 years!
Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Breakfast Chef and Chef De Partie to join our kitchen team. You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality dishes that exceed our customers' expectations. This is an opportunity to showcase your culinary talent and be part of a dynamic team in a beautiful beachside setting. Full & part time positions available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications.
- Ensure food quality and presentation are consistently maintained to the highest standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and specials.
- Manage kitchen operations during breakfast service, including food preparation, cooking, and cleanliness.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Breakfast Chef / CDP or similar role.
- Strong culinary skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
- Food safety certification.
