Broadcom Data Centre Security Engineer

Compas are looking for a Broadcom Data Centre Security Engineer to work on a long-term contract within a federal government department.

In this role you will provide detail design for optimised solution, improve the current implementation of Data Centre Security and guide the team on end-to-end best practices.

ACT, NSW, QLD, SA, VIC location
Negative Vetting 1 clearance mandatory
Contract until 30 June 2025 with a 12-month extension

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in the daily operations and management of Broadcom DCS, including but not limited to identify, isolating and resolving the root cause of the technical support issues, implementing daily health checks and configuring / managing reporting and knowledge transfer to other support staff

Weighted Criteria

• Strong technical understanding of Broadcom DCS, including configuring and optimising the product.
• Strong understanding of the Essential Eight Application Control mitigation strategy, and the applicable Information Security Manual (ISM) controls, and how to implement them within Broadcom DCS.
• Experience in planning, scheduling, and implementing periodical patch, bug fixes and major system upgrades for Broadcom DCS.
• Experience in upgrading from Broadcom DCS version 6.7.x to 6.9.x
