Position Overview:
As a Building and Construction Trainer at ICV, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and industry-relevant training programs to students pursuing qualifications in the Building and Construction sector. The successful candidate will have a passion for education, extensive industry experience, and a strong commitment to equipping students with the knowledge and skills necessary for success in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver high-quality training programs in Building and Construction, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
- Create engaging and interactive learning materials, including lesson plans, presentations, and assessments.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the diverse needs of students.
- Stay current with industry trends and updates, incorporating relevant changes into the curriculum.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall quality of the education provided at ICV.
- Participate in professional development activities to continually improve teaching methods and content.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant qualifications in Building and Construction
- TAESS00019 Assessor Skill Set, or Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, or willingness to attain
- Experience with managing residential and/or commercial building & construction
- Substantial industry experience in Building and Construction, with a strong understanding of current practices and technologies..
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
