Role Overview
As the Building Certifier, you will play a crucial role in servicing our clients mid north coast business. You will be supported by a team of professionals to manage multiple projects, and upholding our clients’ commitment to providing a superior service to their customers. Your technical expertise in building approval and inspection services will be instrumental in maintaining their reputation as a trusted and reliable partner in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing critical stage inspections to ensure adherence to legislative requirements.
- Working across a variety of projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Conducting assessments of Construction Certificates, Complying Development Certificates, Occupation Certificates, Crown Certificates, and Building Code of Australia Reports.
- Providing expert building compliance advice to a diverse range of clients.
- Investigating and resolving customer requests promptly and professionally.
- Registration as a Registered Building Inspector or Registered Building Surveyor (restricted class 1 and 10 Buildings) or the ability to attain either level of registration in the near future.
- Ideally you will have at least 2 years of relevant industry experience in building surveying and consulting.
- Must have extensive knowledge of NSW building regulations and codes.
- Excellent technical understanding of buildings of all classes and types.
- Demonstrated ability to assess and recommend alternative building solutions.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a strong focus on quality assurance.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to find innovative solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and client engagement.
