The opportunity exists to join our well-established building certification firm, with offices based in both Parramatta and Wollongong. Our services extend throughout the Greater Sydney Metropolitan regions to the Central Coast, South Coast, Southern Highlands, and Illawarra.
Accredited Building Certifiers is a Registered Body Corporate offering certification and building consultancy services in the residential, commercial and industrial sectors. Our current team of nine certifiers have diverse experience in certification work in registration categories ranging from Building Inspector through to Building Surveyor – Unrestricted.
We are currently seeking applicants to join our industry-leading team in the role/s of:
- Building Surveyor – Restricted (class 1 and 10 buildings)
- Building Inspector

Applicants will need to demonstrate the following capabilities relevant to the role/s:
- Knowledge of NSW legislation relating to the certification of building work
- Understanding of building codes and standards relating to domestic residential buildings
- Awareness of the mechanics associated with the domestic residential building industry
- Competence in undertaking critical stage inspections of building work
- Strong decision making and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously without supervision
- Customer service mindset.
Preferred applicants will also have the following:
- Current NSW registration as a building surveyor or building inspector
- Competence in issuing complying development, construction and occupation certificates.
The successful applicant/s will be afforded a competitive remuneration package including market salary, superannuation, and car allowance (subject to the level of experience and registration). The package will also cover costs associated with annual registration fees, professional indemnity insurance and continuing professional development. A mobile phone and tablet will be supplied for operational purposes.
