• Located in, Brisbane CBD, Queensland
• Up to 12-month assignment with the potential for an extension, pending business & performance requirements.

About the Role

We are on the lookout for motivated and detail-oriented Budget Support Planners to join our team. As a Budget Support Planner, you will play a crucial role in assisting disability participants on optimising their allocated funds. Your responsibilities will include:

• Early identification of overspending and providing education on budget management.
• Analysing participant records to make funding decisions, aiming to reduce overspending.
• Engaging with participants and their representatives via telephone communication to understand current circumstances and spending patterns.
• Maintaining high-quality record-keeping, showcasing competency with IT systems, and adhering to process guidelines and standard operating procedures.
• Conducting research and reviewing decisions, managing moderately complex cases with the assistance of higher classification levels.
• Completing administrative and data entry tasks related to participants.
• Contributing to the achievement of key performance indicators, including planning targets.
• Other duties as needed.

About you

To thrive in this role, you need:

• Previous experience in the disability sector, highly regarded.
• Ability to work effectively in a virtual team with a national presence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with comfort in making calls.
• Strong analytical and research abilities.
• Sound knowledge in service delivery areas.
• Competency with IT systems and data entry.
• Ability to work within established procedures and guidelines.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
• Must be an Australian Citizen.
