The Organisation: Join a prominent cluster within the NSW State Government as a Services Engineer. This contract is a maternity leave cover, with potential extensions and permanent opportunities within the cluster.
As a Services Engineer, you will be an integral part of our Planning Division team in Sydney and it is a great opportunity to gain diverse experience across all asset classes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing advice across HVAC, Electrical and Mechanical.
- Assist Property & Facilities Team with technical engineering advice.
- Review asset data and maintenance history, identifying and prioritising maintenance work service requests, and supporting Development Proposals.
- Site inspections and response to RFIs.
- Work within a small team on planning and refurbishment.
- Oversight of electrical, fire, and hydraulic systems.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in designing or commissioning systems is ideal.
- Familiarity with HVAC, Electrical, Fire, and Hydraulic Systems.
Additional Information:
- Work-from-home flexibility (2 out of 3 days), on-site presence required.
- Occasional travel outside Sydney (every second month).
- Previous employees transitioning from consultancy with 3-4 years of experience.
- Mentorship provided for professional development.
Remuneration:
- $114K + 17% Superannuation
- 17% Superannuation.
