Our guiding principles have a focus on keeping our promises and making things easy – our goal is to be “Un-Council like!” About the roleSince the implementation of our Bulky Waste Collection service for the Maitland community last year, our service has been experiencing ongoing growth within the LGA providing ongoing career development opportunities.As the Bulky Waste Collection Operator, you will undertake general Bulky Waste Collection duties, labouring duties, operation of the rear-loading Waste Collection vehicles and the collection of bulky kerbside waste and illegally dumped items in a safe and efficient manner. About youTo be successful in this role, you will: Have a current HR licence. Have experience in the operation of rear-loading waste and/or recycling collection vehicles. Be a productive team member, contributing to team goals. Be committed to providing a positive customer experience. The following is not essential but will be highly regarded: Possession of current traffic control tickets. General Construction Induction Card. Previous experience working in Bulky Waste Collections and/or waste management. BenefitsThis is a permanent full-time role with a salary range of $59,215 up to $65,729.56 per year based on demonstrated competencies allowance 11% super. Working 38 hours per week across a spread of hours between 4:45am to 1:15pm.
