The Role:
Cater Care Australia seeks to appoint 1 Full Time Permanent Bus Driver at our Mine Site in Burnie, Tasmania. Working split shifts Tues - Mon 0430 - 1230 & 1500 - 1930. DIDO role within 2.5hrs radius of site.
Roster:
What This Role Involves:
Setting up and clearing dining rooms
Dishwashing and cleaning of the kitchen, equipment & dining areas
Maintaining legislated food hygiene and safety practices
Fast, effective service throughout busy periods - with a good attitude
Assisting the broader team as required
Preparing and presenting texture-modified foods
Dining Room Duties - maintain cleanliness, stock and crib food levels
Housekeeping Duties - room and ensuite cleaning, making beds (if needed)
Common Area Cleaning - emptying bins, sweeping, mopping, general cleaning
Mine Site Cleaning - cleaning offices, crib huts, bathhouses
The Ideal Applicant Will Have:
Must hold a valid Manual Drivers License and a MR licence and have previous bus driving experience
Hospitality experience, particularly within kitchen and housekeeping operations
A National Police Clearance within 6 months, or willing to obtain
Ability to work well with other team members
A commitment to genuine, friendly customer service
A motivated, enthusiastic and positive ‘can-do’ attitude
Adherence to first-class food & general safety practices
Ability to understand and comply with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Physically fit and able to work long hours with repetitive tasks
Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
Ability to work in varying degrees of heat, cold, humidity & inclement weather
Other Mandatory License - PPV
Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident
