Our client is seeking to engage a highly motivated Business Analyst Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) to join on an initial 6 month contract period. As the Business Analyst you will play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and the organisations Out of the Box solutions by analysing and documenting business processes, gathering and defining requirements, and providing data-driven insights.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for EAM solutions.
- Analyse existing documentation to inform decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis to compare current business processes and workflows with industry best practices and EAM system capabilities.
- Develop detailed business and functional requirements documents, use cases, and process flow diagrams to bridge gaps and enhance optimization
- Work with technical teams to design and implement EAM solutions that meet business requirements and align with industry best practices.
- Assist in configuring EAM systems, including setting up asset hierarchies, maintenance plans, and workflows.
- Ensure that EAM solutions are interactable as required with other enterprise systems, such as ERP, GIS, and SCADA systems.
- Design work packages and determine the sizing of work packages to ensure efficient project execution.
- Develop and manage deliverable plans for EAM initiatives, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Coordinate project activities and communicate project status to stakeholders and senior management.
- Ensure that deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Monitor the performance of EAM solutions and processes during the build and testing phases of the program as required, using key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and work with the program to document these changes in the backlog.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in EAM technologies and practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on asset management or enterprise systems.
- Experience with EAM software (e.g., IBM Maximo, Infor EAM, SAP PM) and related technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in business process modelling and documentation tools.
- Knowledge of asset management principles, standards, and best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience with the interrelationship and integration with GIS, SCADA, and other ERP capabilities such as Finance and Supply Chain, Project Management Lifecycle and Human Resources and Payroll.
