As a Business Analyst (Fleet Analyst) you will be tasked with performing analytical work for Fleet Department. Your focus will be on key areas such as reporting, insight and profitability. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, evaluating and utilizing insightful reports from various information systems on a daily/weekly and monthly basis.
This is an exciting role for an analyst who is looking to expand their knowledge and challenge themselves.
This position is a permanent role based out of our Mascot HQ and offers the flexibility to work from home 2 days per week once up to speed with the role.
What you’ll do
- Provide support for key functions; Procurement, Remarketing and Fleet Management.
- Utilise company and industry data insights to assist with forecasting, planning and wider business reviews.
- Prepare data models for profitability, forecasting and sales evaluations.
- Design, manage and Maintain scheduling of reports and ensure accuracy of standardised reporting and dashboards using a range of tools such as SQL, Power BI, Hyperion, Tableau and Excel.
- Conduct daily system analytics to maximize effectiveness and troubleshoot problems.
- Month-end process preparation/reconciliation of data (transactional and financial) for financial processing
- Produce, analyse and communicate fleet reports to senior executives including; car sales volume, profitability, depreciation costs and holding costs.
- Partner with stakeholders across various business units to develop necessary analyses and reports collaboratively.
- Producing monthly detailed reporting on the fleet portfolio.
- Various monthly and quarterly reports for audit and governance purposes.
- Drive identification of requirements across business units and identify substandard systems processes through evaluation of data.
- Liaison with stakeholders to action business requirements.
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Systems, or related work experience
- Demonstrated experience in the ability to analyse large datasets.
- Proven SQL Knowledge and data modelling experience.
- Evaluating and understanding existing application architecture with Business process
- Previous experience in planning, forecasting, reporting, analysis, prioritisation and problem-solving
- Ability to identify, establish and build strong relationships across a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
- Exceptional analytical and communication skills including the ability to prepare clear professional reporting.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to take on additional responsibilities as they arise.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under minimal supervision.
