AddressThe Technical Business Analyst will support the product management team across a major mobile application development project. The focus is to analyse the user experience and work with the technical teams and business stakeholders to improve its functionality.
You will work closely with the product manager, software developers, architects, and other technical teams to ensure clear communication and understanding of the requirements. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and then translate the business requirements into technical specifications and user stories, detailing functional and non-functional requirements. There also will be a need to conduct a thorough analysis of existing systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for innovation.
This is a contract role until the end of 2024 with a likely extension. You will get the opportunity to work with an innovative team across their digital transformation program. The organisation's head office is based in Newcastle and they can also consider hybrid work-from-home options.
What you’ll bring:
You will have a strong understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum and the ability to work with management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar. You will also need to be able to develop and maintain documentation including functional specifications, process flows, and system diagrams. This role will require good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and also demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with mobile application development or software development projects would be great and also knowledge of data modelling, database design, and SQL queries is a plus.
