Our client is seeking a talented, dynamic Business Analyst to work with their Information Technology Services (ITS) branch on a range of technical initiatives.
Role
Ideally you will be client focused with experience across all aspects of business analysis in a technical environment. This will entail liaising with stakeholders to solicit, understand and document business requirements, processes, and develop high level solutions and system designs.
The Business Analyst will be responsible for:
- Working closely with ITS and business project teams to ensure requirements are well understood, solutions tested, technical issues recorded and tracked, changes implemented, and business objectives met.
- Facilitating workshops and other collaboration or research activities with internal and external stakeholders to meet outcomes, such as identifying pain points and designing solutions and opportunities for improvement.
- Producing artefacts as required to assist teams to understand the problem and design an appropriate solution. This may include user stories, journey maps, blueprints, personas, functional requirements specifications.
- Provide input into a solution design that takes into account enterprise architecture, security, Information and data management in order to resolve complex issues for both near term business objectives and predicted future needs.
- Demonstrated experience (at least 5 years) in business analysis.
- Highly developed liaison, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and to listen and respond to others appropriately.
- Experience working on technical projects, particularly those related to infrastructure.
- Experience producing analysis and project artefacts such as process maps, functional decomposition models, functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, business cases and acceptance criteria.
- Experience working with external stakeholders in projects which require collaboration between Agencies/Consultants/Contractors
- Experience working in IT infrastructure projects.
