The Business Analyst will work within the Products and Services Team to support the delivery of projects to both internal and the client and Company’s internal subject matter experts to elicit relevant information to define requirements and products, and assist in the delivery of projects. external stakeholders.
Key relationships: Project Managers, Business Development Managers, Developers, other Business Analysts and Clients and their representatives
Duties and Responsibilities:
1 Requirements gathering and analysis
Work with clients to capture business requirements
Obtain client requirements using various methods, including but not limited to interviews, document review, requirements workshops, site visits and teleconferences
Perform gap analysis by comparing the product offering to the client’s requirements
Conduct research and analysis of requirements in order to provide information and advice to clients
Participate in internal solution design meetings
Identify issues, risks and opportunities in processes and proposing potential solutions
2 Documentation
Effectively translate business and user requirements in to technical and functional specification and develop mock-up sand process maps.
Ensure that all documents are written using clear and concise language representing the client’s identified needs, opportunities and processes
Obtain client sign-off for documented deliverables
Review documents produced by other Business Analysts and other members of the team as required.
3 Configuration
Work closely with the development team to design and build custom solutions using the Microsoft suite (Office 365,SharePoint, Dynamics)
Actively building, configuring and customising solutions and related products as required4 Quality Assurance and Testing
System testing, including UAT, functional and load testing prior to solution delivery
Ensure that all tests are conducted and documented according to standards set in project management methodology
5 Client Liaison
Act as the interface between the client and the company
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to enhance business relationships and project delivery.
Identify opportunities and propose solutions for issues facing the client, whilst guiding the client to minimise product customisations
Provide training and other advice and assistance to the client, as required.
6 Planning and Delivery
Conduct assigned project activities in alignment with project timelines and budget
Work with the internal stakeholders to support and implement essential customisations to the product according to client requirements
Identify issues and risks, ensuring that they are appropriately captured and actioned
7 Reporting
Ensure relevant information is effectively communicated and reported to the Project Manager and the organisation
Raise variations to requirements when they are identified
Complete Timesheets accurately and diligently, on a daily basis
Raise awareness immediately when tasks are exceeding their allocated budget to complete.8 General
Travelling to visit potential and existing clients
Assisting with the preparation of client quotations
Preparing reports for management
Recording and maintaining client contact data as required
Creating technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs
Maintaining content on all demonstration environments.
Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education
Providing and maintaining all Business Analysis related material
Performs other duties as assigned by management as required
