The Business Analyst will work with the internal and external stakeholders to analyse and evaluate business systems and user needs in the context of integrating the Performance Based Standards scheme into the NHVR Portal
Through the NHVR’s Performance Based Standards (PBS) scheme, heavy vehicle operators have an opportunity to improve productivity and safety through innovative and optimised vehicle design. The basic principle of PBS is to match the right vehicle to the right freight task. PBS vehicles are specifically designed to have a high level of performance and meet strict safety and infrastructure standards to ensure they are suited to the road network. At the NHVR we approve vehicle designs, approve the ‘as-built’ vehicles and work with State and local government’s to facilitate access to roads.

About you:
You don’t need to have a background in the heavy vehicle industry (but bonus points if you do). What you must have is demonstrated experience in business mapping and process analysis, excellent organisational skills, well developed analytical and problem solving skills. You are collaborative and work well across business teams to develop customer centric solutions.
