We have a newly created role within our D&SI (Defence and Social Infrastructure) for a Business Analytics Manager. The Business Analytics Manager will be responsible for providing analytical support to the D&SI leadership team. The role will work collaboratively with the sectors management and commercial / strategy teams to develop analytical solutions across market data and internal performance data.
The role will become the subject matter expert on systems and processes and support the EGM Commercial and Strategy on driving process improvement.
The role is a Permanent Full-Time position based out of our offices in Cremorne, Victoria and will suit a person looking to expand their career and create a high performing and engaging team.
Key Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Champion the use of data and analytics for improving delivery and decision making across the Sector
- Work with significant volumes of data, develop reporting, and provide key insights of Commercial performance KPI's and Commercial data across the D&SI business unit
- Develop KPI's / measures / benchmarks from existing data
- Collaborate within the team to provide bespoke reports and data analytics to assist with respect to improving commercial performance, compliance, and service delivery
- Support the delivery of the sector strategy through market and competitor analytics
- Champion the development of process improvement underpinned by data and metrics through the development of sector KPI's and a commercial scorecard
To be successful you will hold relevant qualifications relevant to this position along with extensive experience working with large volumes of data, ideally in a large organisation across numerous platforms. You will also be:
- Highly proficient in using Power BI, pulling data, DAX, Data visualisation / dashboards
- An advanced user within Excel
- Proven experience in creating and presenting reports to senior stakeholders
- Experienced in data extraction and manipulation within SAP and other systems
