The role
Reporting to the Business Manager, you will provide the effective and timely coordination of business support functions enabling business continuity and success. Business Coordinators provide quality assurance in the form of valuable and ethical compliance and governance, assisting management's decision-making processes. Further, the position is to assist, contribute, support and provide effective client-focused financial, human resources and administrative services for clients of the branch.
The successful person
You will have demonstrated:
Highly developed experience, skills and knowledge of departmental budgetary and human resource processes and reporting requirements and the ability to extract, collate and interpret information and to prepare and present diverse business reports using data.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in generating reports using Queensland Health Information Systems for decision making, Ability to resolve problems and work autonomously to achieve organisational goals.
Highly developed interpersonal, consultation and other communication skills, particularly tact, discretion, sensitivity, confidentiality and an ability to communicate and work with senior management and staff alike.
Highly developed knowledge of contemporary human resource management issues such as workplace health & safety, equal employment opportunity and anti-discrimination with the ability to provide leadership, direction and advice within the team environment.

The branch delivers timely, customer-focused administrative support enabling divisions to meet strategic and operational priorities.
The Corporate Services Division provides support services necessary for Queensland Health to function effectively and deliver essential health services. The Division is responsible for major corporate functions including financial, legal and human resources services, information management services and overseeing key governance functions such as risk, audit and compliance.
