The Opportunity
We are seeking a driven and experienced Business Development professional to join our growing team.
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in building and strengthening strategic partnerships with healthcare organisations, securing new clients, and driving revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic partnerships: Identify and forge long-term alliances with hospitals, aged care facilities, and other healthcare entities, aligning with their needs and contributing to mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Client acquisition and relationship management: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, build strong relationships with key decision-makers, and develop strategies to acquire and retain clients.
- Market intelligence and competitive analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and competitor activity, utilising insights to inform strategic decision-making and gain a competitive edge.
- Revenue generation and growth: Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve revenue targets and contribute to the company's growth objectives.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work effectively with internal teams, including Recruitment, Operations, Finance, as well as the Senior Leadership function to ensure seamless project delivery and development of client-centric services.
- Market positioning and brand awareness: Represent HealthX at industry events, conferences, and networking gatherings, contributing to brand awareness and thought leadership initiatives.
- Team leadership and development: Foster a collaborative and results-oriented environment within the Business Development team and broader workforce, providing guidance and support for professional growth.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development or a related field, preferably within the healthcare sector.
- Proven track record of success in building strategic partnerships, acquiring new clients, and growing revenue.
- In-depth understanding of the Australian healthcare landscape, including current trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems (preferred).
