About The Role
We’re looking for a Business Development Executive to join our growing team in Adelaide. You will play a pivotal role in establishing and nurturing new connections. Your responsibilities are crucial in broadening our sales pipeline, engaging in meaningful conversations with potential merchants, and identifying sales and networking prospects that drive our overall success.
What you’ll be doing:
- Proactively engage with new clients and expand your sales pipeline.
- Arrange appointments for demonstrations and value-based sales presentations.
- Explore creative approaches to discovering new opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with different teams to create customized solutions for our clients.
- Ensure that the diverse needs of potential merchants are aligned with our range of products and services.
- As the primary touchpoint, you will collaborate closely with the Merchant Onboarding team to ensure smooth onboarding of new merchants in accordance with their needs.
What you need to bring:
- 2-3 years of experience in B2B sales, merchant acquisition and/or POS and payments systems
- Passionate about hospitality, with a keen interest in keeping abreast of the latest trends in hospitality technology
- A natural networker, always eager to connect and engage
- You establish trust by posing insightful questions and demonstrating genuine care
- Motivated and energetic individuals with a keen desire for continuous learning
- A proactive self-starter, driven by achievement and continuously striving to surpass targets
