This role works alongside the Corporate Sales Manager to generate sales of fuel cards specifically targeting medium to large sized businesses. To achieve this objective, you will strategically target new clients via following up internal leads, using your existing network and actively reaching out to new businesses. You will develop a monthly sales plan in conjunction with the Corporate Sales Manager and manage this plan to achieve assigned targets, and as required address any short falls in the delivery of these plans.
This role requires excellent selling skills in a B2B environment, strong communication skills, the ability to use cold calling to generate sales and exceptional customer relationship development. You must have also have proven ability in closing sales and a high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete all phases of the sales process including developing target account lists, conducting needs analyses, developing sales plans and achieving successful outcomes
- Prepare, attend and follow up client presentations
- Ensure that all supporting material is current and where required updated/enhanced
- Continually update all sales administrative processes, folders and spreadsheets with sales and relevant customer data
- Traveling to expos and conferences to be the face of our product
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers
- Work collaboratively across all departments supporting individuals and teams
Education / Professional Qualifications:
- Extensive computer software skills (Word and Excel)
- Technical and logical focus toward new technology
- Proven ability to work through opportunities in a logical and sound manner
- Travel as required
- Driver's license
