Your contribution to the team includes
The Business Development Executive is responsible in supporting the Business Development Manager within Commercial Partnerships to drive the Clubs commercial standing within the AFL competition and across the domestic sporting landscape.
The Business Development Executive will play a pivotal leadership role within the achievement of above outcome, this role is responsible for driving new business including within the Ballarat region, as well as supporting the Business Development Manager with generating new revenue opportunities (both within traditional assets and new business).
- Manage a portfolio of key relationships with existing Commercial Partners
- Revenue, Net Profit and Commercial budget achievement
- Drive new business opportunities in Ballarat and the wider club environment
- Establish and maintain strong professional working relationships with all key sponsor related stakeholders involved with the Club
- Key day-to-day management and responsibility for Ballarat based partnerships and leads
- Game Day and Official Events responsibilities;
- Proactively contribute to the winning of new sponsorship projects from existing and new clients
Skills and experience
- Minimum 2-year’s experience in sponsorship and/or Business Development roles
- Proven experience within achievement of revenue and partner servicing outcomes
- Highly organised
- Strong attention to detail
- Advanced Microsoft Suite knowledge
- Knowledge of operating a CRM and setting up/managing databases preferable
- University qualification in Marketing, Business Management and or Commerce (preferred but not required)
