An exciting opportunity has become available for a Business Development Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with existing owners and new investors with the aim of growing and maintaining keys, in our new developments and targeted properties. This growth will be achieved by actively working with developers and key sales agents, identifying opportunities for growth and reviewing key loss trends
This role is a temporary, 8-month position that will be based from our Corporate Office located in Surfers Paradise.
Getting to know the role and your responsibilities
- Provide a high level of service to all Unit Owners and potential Owners within the Accor at all times.
- Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge about our different types of management agreements and the management options and services provided by Accor.
- Hold current R/E licenses for applicable states, maintain a good knowledge of current legislation.
- Conduct extensive research on establish buildings in the area to identify competitor sets.
- Ensure you are well versed with your targeted properties forecasted holiday returns, permanent market rental returns and competitor returns.
- Develop an intimate knowledge of all offsite letting agents in the area and establish further knowledge about their method of operation, agreements and returns.
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of Investor Information Kits, welcome packs and owner loyalty cards.
- Communicating with and/or meeting with investors personally to discuss and promote our benefits and services.
- Constantly maintaining a cohesive relationship with all internal and external stakeholders.
What we need from you
- Bachelor Degree in Business or similar preferred
- 3+ years experience in a proactive sales role within a similar environment
- Experience in the hospitality/hotel/travel industry is high desirable.
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin is a bonus but not essential.
