Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager for a leading provider of medical and healthcare supplies.With a vast range of products from search and rescue products, first responder products, consumable items to defibrillators and EpiPens, this organisation provides life-saving solutions to first responders, oil and gas, schools, aged care facilities, and mine sites throughout Australia.
With the ability to manage your own calendar, you will be heavily supported by a strong technical team to assist with lead generation and quoting.
To be successful in this role, you must have the ability to build long standing client relationships and quickly grasp a broad range of products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with mining companies, schools, and other facilities that utilise consumable medical products.
- Actively promote and sell a comprehensive range of medical supplies.
- Conduct on-site visits and product demonstrations to showcase the benefits and features of the range.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations to clients, ensuring they are equipped with the most suitable products for their specific needs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and new product developments to effectively communicate value propositions to clients.
- Collaborate with the internal team to generate sales leads, prepare quotes, and follow up on customer enquiries.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets, contributing to the company's overall growth and success.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and establish long-term client relationships.
- Proactive and results-driven mindset, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, demonstrating strong collaboration and teamwork.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
