About the role
As a Business Development Manager, you will be a natural hunter who gets a rush actively opening doors and sales opportunities. With a dedicated territory, you will proactively identify, meet with, and win new customer accounts to drive sales within our commercial division.
With a hunger for attaining new business, your key accountabilities will include:
- Systematically identifying, prospecting & ultimately winning new business across the entire product line.
- Actively creating connections through cold calling and networking, identifying decision makers and influencers to infiltrate and build long-term relationships.
- Effectively planning and executing consistent new sales pipelines.
- Managing sales activity through CRM systems including customer lists, activity plans and call reports, prospects, won and lost sales and opportunities.
- Adding value to customers by understanding their business needs and providing solutions.
To be amazing in this role
You love the hunt and being on the road! As a driven and energetic Business Development professional, you pride yourself on your ability to infiltrate and problem solve. With strong connections across multiple categories, you can demonstrate:
- 2+ years direct selling experience in B2B sales.
- Proven track record of managing and growing a sales pipeline, working with not only incoming marketing leads but using out-of-the-box techniques to hunt new opportunities.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools ( Dynamics advantageous)
