The Opportunity
The Business Development Specialist is responsible for building, maintaining, and growing effective business relationships with Workforce Australia (WFA) licensed employment providers, including Workforce Australia, Disability Employment Services (DES), ParentsNext and Transition to Work (TTW), and start-up/existing micro-businesses.

Key Accountabilities
- Drive enrolments into Asuria Training products by establishing and cultivating strong relationships with referral partners and employers
- Align Business Development initiatives to achieve targets across multiple training products and locations.
- Collaborate with Business Development team members across Asuria Training and Asuria for the management of large stakeholders.
- Actively engaging within the relevant industry sectors to build strong networks and to identify and develop opportunities including but not limited to; delivering information sessions to Employment Service Providers and collaborating with Local Job Facilitators.
- Actively engage with employment service providers in your region through regular face-to-face visits, sharing of outcomes including through the forms of case studies, information and/or training sessions.
- Represent Asuria Training professionally and effectively at events in your region including; staying up to date with relevant upcoming events and marketing opportunities in your region, recommending attendance and working with marketing team and other stakeholders to plan and prepare for attendance.
- Collaborate with Asuria marketing team to maintain regular EDM campaigns with referral partners and stakeholders.

- Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, including report writing as and when required.
- Ability to effectively use technology in the workplace and coordinate administrative requirements.
- Extensive organisational and time management skills and a capacity to meet demands and timelines.
