About the OPPORTUNITY
Embark on a rewarding journey with us as a Business Engagement Lead, based in our new digital shipyard in Adelaide, South Australia. Under the strategic vision of the Strategy & Architecture Manager, you'll work with business executives to understand their strategic ambitions and capability requirements.

Reporting to the Manager of Strategy & Architecture - Maritime, this role requires a proactive leader with a strong track record in guiding teams through complex projects, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. More specifically, you will
- Forge and fortify alliances with the capability owners of the business to understand their strategic missions and capability needs.
- Be the voice that bridges worlds, translating tech-speak into strategic outcomes for our clients.
- Discover where to add real business value, driving a gold standard of outcomes delivery.
- Act as a primary liaison between the business and the IM&T Function, ensuring effective communication and understanding of expectations.
- Command the spotlight, presenting tales of progress, challenges bested, and victories won to an audience of senior stakeholders.
About YOU
- Proven ability to establish and nurture strong, productive relationships with high-level business executives, demonstrating an exceptional understanding of strategic business needs and how to align them with technological solutions.
- Be adept at translating complex technical concepts into clear, strategic advantages for non-technical stakeholders, ensuring mutual understanding and alignment with business objectives.
- Be able to identify and shape on opportunities to add significant business value.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage, inform, and influence senior stakeholders through compelling narratives about progress, challenges, and successes.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and the capacity to foresee potential challenges and devise effective solutions.
- Flexible, adaptive, and resilient demeanour that fosters a collaborative and inclusive work environment that embraces and leverages the benefits of diverse perspectives and flexible working arrangements.
