About the role:
We have a newly created opportunity for a Business Graduate - Payroll and HR Reporting professional to join our People, Performance & Culture team. As part of the People team here at Hostplus, you'll benefit from a range of learning opportunities aimed at enhancing your skills and fostering your career growth while playing a key role in ensuring our payroll process runs like a well-oiled machine, and working with our Payroll Manager to uplift our HR reporting capabilities, through the creation of insightful dashboard reports. You will bring a strong analytical mindset to the role, with an element of curiosity, as well as a desire to be a part of a team who is passionate about making a real difference.
Some key responsibilities:
  • Administering and coordinating fortnightly payroll for approximately 350 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Processing new starters and leavers including parental leave, termination and redundancy
  • Performing pay and leave entitlement reconciliations
  • Responding to payroll queries in a professional and timely manner via phone and email
  • Assisting with annual salary increase, end of month and end of financial year activities
  • Fortnightly/Monthly HR reporting and remuneration survey data
  • HR and payroll reporting and dashboard update
About you:
  • A recent graduate in accounting, finance, HR or related discipline
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines, you thrive under pressure and always deliver
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced but supportive and collaborative environment.
