The Role

Reporting to the Manager Business Transformation and Customer Experience and located in Windsor, you will:

  • Work closely with Managers and Coordinators to review service functions, practices and processes across the organisation to drive our approach to Operational Excellence.
  • Assist in production of periodic report on Service Review; Operational Excellence; Project Program and Customer Service Experience performance
  • Assist in the development of Organisational Tools and providing Consultancy Service Support and Application Support to enable Business Improvement, Operational Excellence, Service Reviews and, Project and Change Management across the Council to improve operations and outcomes for the Community

About You

You will have the ability to lead, motivate and provide direction to a team. You will be a team player that fosters good working relationships and works collaboratively with others. You will have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills. You will be able to take ownership and responsibility of problems until resolution, and you will respond effectively to changing circumstances and competing priorities in order to deliver results.

Essential Criteria

  • Tertiary qualifications in Leadership, Business, Information Technology, Continuous Improvement or Project Management
  • Minimum 3 years of experience leading and implementing successful Business Improvements in a complex environment
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant leadership experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience developing training guides and providing support
  • Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated workshop facilitation experience
  • Highly developed interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to communicate and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise and organise projects/tasks in order to meet competing deadlines
  • Ability to evaluate, analyse, document findings and put forward suitable recommendations
  • Proven ability to document technical and end user procedures, application user guides, and training material
  • Ability to conduct training to small groups or individuals to enable them to effectively utilise the solution/application
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC)
