Process Improvement Business Analyst | Customer & Operations Shared Services | Sydney (Hybrid)

This role's main objective is to oversee the planning and execution of initiatives aimed at supporting the business in improving customer outcomes. Additionally, it involves aiding in the assessment, investigation, and implementation of improvement and enhancement initiatives.
You'll be responsible for

  • Conducting research on business issues, ideas, and suggestions, and formulating recommendations for resolution or development, implementing agreed-upon solutions.
  • Analyzing and executing business process initiatives, overseeing either specific components or the entirety of smaller initiatives.
  • Articulating and translating business requirements into documentation and solution designs, utilizing appropriate tools, models, data analysis, process analysis, and cost-benefit analysis.
  • Providing timely and accurate updates on issue resolution and project development.
  • Coordinating necessary data extraction processes; define the project scope, prepare relevant project documentation, and obtain stakeholder and Project Office approval as needed.
  • Researching, developing, and implementing initiatives contributing to the effective management of customer outcomes. Ensuring project delivery aligns with Allianz project management methodology and adheres to established budgets.
  • Drafting communications to the business as necessary and overseeing the identification and coordination of updates to process guides or the creation of new guides.
About you
  • Significant experience in an insurance operations role, gaining thorough claims process knowledge and project management experience for a complex, matrixed general insurance organization.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize effectively, organize tasks and manage competing resources and demands.
  • Proven analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret a range of data, identify patterns, trends and links that inform judgements and solutions.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze complex information, extract meaningful insights and evaluate options for decision making.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact and influence.
